Weather forecast said it will be cloudy today, but we have blue sky at the beginning.

This lake will be freeze completely in winter. Today we can find little floating ice.

The weather is getting bad, and finally the snow came down.
We decided not to go to the Nakashinndenn-Tameike.
Mountain weather is scary!
When we came back to the Shizen-Bunnkaen, we can find blue sky again.
The weather is beautiful today.
Mr. Kobayashi said “It is perfect day. May be less than 10 days in a year.”
There was Logs Bridge on the forest path which is the first time for us to walk.
We find frost column.
We practice for a while with spectacular views of Mt. Yatsugatake,
laughter is heard here and there.
We have 3 newcomers and 2 for the second time.

Walking path is fairly soft covered with fallen leaves.

Today we can look all directions clearly.
We have a short break at the point Mr. Kobayashi recommend as a featured spot.
Through autumn's beautiful suspension, we returned to the Park.

We cannot begin to walk cause of the Lake MARUYACHI landscape.
At Jissen farm, we welcomed by trees aflame with red and yellow leaves.

On the walking path, we found many bur.There are chestnut tree above.
On the wayside, we found many mushrooms or toadstools!?
In Hara Village, the temperature is bellow 20℃ in the morning.
Autumn is coming just around the corner.
Today’s members are 10. We decided to walk around the church and Jissen School.
The path is still full of green but we can find the leaves are falling around.
Yatsugatake Kogen Church is now repairing.
Three of them who join us from Tokyo and Saitama stopped in front of the church.

Across the bridge we get Jissen School.
We find many big cows because we walk the shortest way today.

The meeting place had become quite unusual atmosphere.
There were many special telescopes all around BUNKAEN and
all the people seems so happy, because of the beautiful weather.
We moved to the courtyard then warm-up.
BUNKAEN & FARM were so crowded to walk so we took the mountain byway.
We found beekeeping boxes under the trees.
Lavenders were at their best by the sidewalk of zoom-line.
Everybody was in good condition!
We had 18 members this day.
Some of us park their car at the 2nd parking area, so we cool down in front of the parking.
It is rainy season in Japan now.
Because of the sound of falling rain, I almost give up today’s walking as hopeless.
But fortunately we started after the rain.
We walk toward Jissen Farm in fresh greenery.
We enjoy walking & talking.
Today we have 13 members.
We walk through white birch grove on the way back.
The weather forecast for today is rain, but fortunately it is good weather for walking.
Grow in colonies of giant fern.
On the way we find beautiful butterfly.
Today’s destination Nakashinndenn-tameike(pond) is right there.
The pound is in the fresh green.

Cherry blossoms are at their best now in Yatsugatake area
White birches are also come into bud, spring has just come.
Sakura in mountain area is a little smaller than the cherry in town, and they are cute.

The way back is downhill. We take a short break.
Today’s walking is the maximum distance for us.
On the way back, R chan repeated “Arriving soon?” all the way.

We can see every Yatsugatake peaks cleary.
Ice is melting belong the shore of Lake Maruyachi.
They are talking about Yatsugatake Volcano Group.
From Lake Maruyachi, their names are
South to North Amikasayama, Nishidake, Gonngenndake, Akadake,
Amidadake, Yokodake, Ioudake , Tenngudake.
We walk through Yatsugatake agricultural school.
It is nice view !
When entering the farm many animals such as goats, sheep,
ponies, cattle, welcome us.

Lake MARUYACHI is frozen over.
This place is one of the best view point of Yatsugatake Volcanic Group
but it is covered by the cloud today.
