Dec.3rd
It is one of the most beautiful day we ever had. We take the path to the Jissen Farm.
We can find Yatsugatake through Onbashira.
Today we have 17 members.
We can see the Japanese Alps in the distance.
We meet students of the Jissen College.
“We could show you many big pumpkin for hallowing few weeks before” they say.
We talk and walk together a little while.
The white birch forest shines in a blue sky.
We walk 5.7km today.
Nov. 5th
Walking in November was blessed with a very good weather, it was a sunny day with no clouds and a warm day.We went to the point where Yatsugatake which we went this winter was able to observe by the guide of Mr. Kobayashi of the Haramura government office.It seems that everyone was able to enjoy being able to see a wonderful landscape.Miscellaneous trees also go down from autumn to winter with red leaves….There were 17 participants.
Oct. 1st.
After the rain deep fog appeared. The weather is delicate whether we can walk or not.
Todays members are seven. We decided to walk the good route of footing.
The rowan produces a fruit, and a mushroom appears and a lot of fruits of the chestnut falling.
The lavender blooms beautifully every summer by good care in this way.
The Onbashira year, the pillar is rebuilt newly at various places. The torii was replaced with a new one, too.
The row of trees of the white birch let us feel a season, too.
We were not caught in the rain at all, and 6km walked comfortably. They are fine weather man and women.
Sep.3rd
It is fine today. Today we take the Jissen farm course, because sunlight is still strong.
The mystery sticks I get the answer today are the sticks for the boots!
In Hara Village, already autumn sign, cosmos are beautiful.
They cut grass, and began the preparation for coming winter.
Today's ten participants. We took a group photo on the Onbashira.
We walk around the lawn in front of the sale place.
When we look at the Japanese pampas grass, we feel autumn.
Many pumpkin for the Halloween grows big in a very large field.
We found the vegetables which in a shower in a Canadian farm.
We walked in a loud voice while we go through the area that a bear was found last year.
Aug.6th
Today, Star Festival of Hara-village is held. The natural culture garden is full of
people who love astronomical observation.
It is very fine today, and sunlight became strong today.
We decided to walk the way with much shade, and warming up in the lawn
space of the garden and started.
A summer flower and an autumn flower both bloom. After the Bon Festival,
Hara-village is an already autumn sign.
We found a big mushroom. We swelled by the story of the mushroom for a
while while walking.The conclusion is mushroom not to know should not eat.
I found the small chestnut.
We took more breaks to take the water before being thirsty.
The lavender comes to look need the care.I forgot to take a group photo.
Today's participant was 11 people.
July. 2nd
It is hot today and the sunlight is strong.We decide to go ahead through the way of
the shade if possible.
Owner Y of pension 〝 Sandoriyon“ was in the middle of the mowing when we
passed
through the narrow path.

I take a short break in the shade. Chattering bounds.
Just after begin to walk again, somebody says "Sweet!" It is gentle taste.
The name is rice-transplanting berry, because it turns red in the days of rice-transplanting.
Today, we have 18 members.
We did cool-down in the shade of a tree of the big linden tree.
Jun.4th
There are many flowers in the garden in this season, we walk through the pension village at first.
Today's participant was 20 people.
We walk along the Maruyachi Lake in the fresh green.
At the charcoal making hut of the Jissenn farm, we met the person who prepared for the tomorrow's event. It is very popular event.
There is the beautiful nest of the bird on the stump quietly.
What eggs will they be?
We found a small Onbashira on the lawn of the Jissen farm.
Walk through white birch forest to natural culture garden, was about 5km.
May.7th
The cherry blossoms began to be scattered, and it is the season of beautiful fresh green.
This is wild wasabi which grew on the bank of the river. And it is tasty.
We go down the path with young green and the cherry blossom left a little.
On Saturday in Golden Week, we enjoyed walking of 5.5km with 22 participants.
A lot of dandelions bloomed during walking and were talked about the distinction of a Japanese dandelion and the Western dandelion.
Like a photograph, calyx of the Western dandelion bends outward.It is easy when it shuts even from the top, but it is difficult when it blooms.
The Japanese dandelion has a firm calyx solidly and is slightly large. I knew about dandelion about 10 years ago and began Japan dandelion support alone. My home has a lot of Japanese dandelions. If you finds a Japanese dandelion, please support it quietly.
Apr.9th
Today is the middle of Ombashira Festival of Kamisha.
We wondered about the participants, but we have 16 include new members
from Shizuoka.The weather is cool and beautiful.
We decided to make a detour a little from the usual course.
Though we should walk near the Jissen farm, states were totally different.
There was the billboard about the stick way of Shingen.
Across the brook
We down thr hill slope to the familiar places today.
Yatsugatake is bright. Spring is coming just around the corner.
We went down the way of eight Onnbashira last week.
It is the stillness after the festival.
We came up through a Canadian farm, and have a pleasant chat with
an owner Hase-yan for a while.
Mar.5th
Most of the snow disappeared already.We walk to the pond in the place
that down a little from a pond of Totoro today.
The pond was still covered by ice.
The ice seemed to be still thick.
God of water"Suijinn" by the pond had a pretty Onbashira.
On the Fujione path snow completely disappeared.
We walk the path of the white birch which has no buds yet.
These are seeds of the white birch.They will hang down like a bunch and fly by wind.
We walked 6km today.It is warm inough to strechi well.
Feb.6th
The snow becomes the ice firmly so it is hard to walk today.
Today we walk new course.
Chouja ga ike has various legends.
It is the place where the approximately 360 degrees view opened out.
Unfortunately there was a cloud around the top of the Yatsugatake.
This is the place vegetables are shipped from here to the whole country by air.
Today we have 17 members.
Jan. 9th
It is really calm New Year holiday without the snow this year.
Today it is so beautiful blue sky.
The lake does not completely freeze.
We came across the art with ice.
This place is the digging spot of the hot spring.
They send hot water of 55 degrees from here to Momi-no-Yu with a pipe.
This place is always covered with snow in January.

At the beginning of this year, we had lunch together and pray for everyone’s’
