Walking Diary 2018
Dec.1st.
The cute deer (?) made with white birch with mistletoe at the entrance.I was surprised that the fruit of mistletoe was much bigger than summer.
Today, a cold wind blows over the cloudy sky and the landscape is also cold and I feel that winter has arrived.
Walking on the small birch path, there is much mistletoe on the white birches.
The pipe carrying hot springs from Jissen farm to Mominokiso is under construction now.The source is about 45 degrees and it seems that it will drop to 42 degrees of the proper temperature while being carried.
In Jissen farm, preparation for winter is proceeding.Yatsugatake is a sign of snowing in the clouds.
Today's participants were 25 people.
We went down the Onbashira road, and turn right to a place that opened wide.Hundreds years ago, it was a hunting place that opened for hunting here and offering prey here.I thought about the harshness of the work of pioneering here only with human power in times without heavy machinery.
Nov.3rd
The autumn leaves of Yatsugatake this year is so beautiful.

We climbed the way in the villa. Clombing on the way back is hard.
There were many cars for autumn leaves, it was hard to walk without sidewalks.
Today’s members were 16. We walked a little longer than usual.
Oct.6th
I was worried about rain forcast,but it is fine.
We found Gentian flowers soon after departure.This flower is blooming at the end of autumn around here.
The autumn leaves of the cherry trees on the Jissen farm are so beautiful.
It is magnificent view with the Yatsugatake mountains.
We took the group photo with Halloween panpkins.
On this farm, 10000 panpkins are harvested in a field of 4ha. A Harvest Festival will be held on 27th & 28th Oct.
We go down the Onbashira road and visit the Canadian farm today.
Someone bought bread,someone took pictures. Rest for a while.
From here we walk a little wild road.Someone said,when a bear comes out, we sould give away this bread and escape.As we get close to the lake Maruyachi,a little rain came down.
Aug.4th
The first Saturday of August every year overlaps the Haramura Star Festival.
In addition to the star festival, 15 people participated for the first time this time. At 10 o'clock, we start for usual course to the Jissen Farm.
Unfortunately although there were many people who participated for the first time, Yatsugatake was covered entirely by clouds.
Shop for a while at a shop at Jissen farm. Other people are taking a break under the trees.
One of the participate who told me that he can not make it in time due to traffic jam can join after taking this group photo and 33 participants today. Perhaps it is the most new record.

Even if we come to Maruyachi lake Yatsugatake is still in the clouds.

July 7th
It was raining heavily until this morning. Considering that it started to rain again, we chose the place with a moderate distance, the state of the road also looks good.
A small river that crosses along the way is also a violent flow with a lot of water.

Jun.2nd
The 16km challenge around Suwa Lake was blessed with fine weather.
Walking course is maintained.
Near the water gate, we take a break with large and delicious Daifuku.
The famous song of Lake Biwa surroundings knew that Taro Oguchi from Okaya looked at Lake Biwa and thought of Lake Suwa in his hometown as a lyrics.He died at the age of 27.

May 5th
Today Legend K participated and gave us warm-up guidance. We’ve got a lot of stimulation from him born in Showa 10.

Fresh green is beautiful and the weather is great. The breeze blows comfortably and is the best walking day.
There are still mountain cherries are blooming in the small diameter of Fujione.
The break point is under the cherry tree. We also take the group photograph. Today we have 22 participants.

Apr.7th
As we walked through the wetland area of the Natural Culture Park, Mizubasho and Zazenso were in bloom.
The cherry blossoms on the Jissen farm were still hard buds.
Today's participants were 21 people.
Slightly descended from the birch road to Choujaike pond.
Some flowers such as Kobushi began to bloom and Fukinoto went out and some people decided the menu of dinner today.
Mar.3rd
Today is sunny windless and warm.
Snow remains on the sidewalk, but it is warm enough to start sweating when we start walking.
Yatsugatake and surrounding mountains leave snow and are lit by the sunlight so it looks really beautiful.
Snow still remains in the Fujione path and it will be a bit difficult to walk so go on slowly.
Mistletoe introduced last month which Kirenjak came to eat fruit was sold at Natural Cultural Park. Very slow growth, it is said that it will take nearly ten years to reach this size.
I forgot to take the group photograph, with the beautiful weather 23 participants this month.
Feb.3rd
It was not a heavy snowfall like the Japan Sea side, but today we have to walk in the snow. People participating in boots will walk first.
The blue sky and the white snow, the Yatsugatake is clearly visible and is a beautiful and beautiful sight.

Jan.6th
It is a New Year with less snow than usual.Temperature is low, but there is little snow.We warmed up under the blue sky.
People who participate for the first time walk well.Every year on January, we have to walk with paying attention to our feet.But today it is easy like this.
Today's participants were 20.
It was still beautiful blue sky when we doing cool down.
A New Year's party at the [Yamanosachi].We hope YNWC is going to be beautiful club year by year.
